NLC India Apprentice Recruitment
NLC India Limited, a “Navratna” Public Sector Enterprise, Under the Ministry of Coal, invites Online application from eligible Graduate/Diploma holders in Engineering hailing from TamilNadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telengana, Kerala, Karnataka and Union territories of Pondicherry and Lakshadweep (passed during 2017/ 2018/2019/ 2020), for one year Apprenticeship Training.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications
Graduate Apprentices:
** A Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by a Statutory University in relevant discipline.
** A Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by an Institution empowered to grant such degree by an Act of Parliament in relevant discipline.
Technician (Diploma) Apprentices:
** A Diploma in Engineering or technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government in relevant discipline.
** A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a University in relevant discipline.
Age
Age limit will be followed as per Apprenticeship Rules.
Reservation of Vacancies
Guidelines under Apprentices Act on Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD will be followed. Candidates claiming reservation under SC/ST/OBC/PWD shall provide certificate as per Government standard format, failing which their claim for reservation will be considered as ‘General category only. If BC candidates claiming OBC category, they should bring OBC certificate as per the Govt. prescribed (OBC) format from the certificate issuing authority.
Duration of Training
The duration of Apprenticeship training will be one year as per Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973.
Previous Training / Experience
Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship under Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973, and/or having one year or more experience are not eligible to apply
How To Apply?
For students who have already enrolled in the National Web Portal and having login details. After verification of student enrolment by BOAT (SR), a student can able to login and apply
Step 1:
a. Login
b. Click Establishment Request Menu
c. Click Find Establishment
d. Upload Resume
e. Choose Establishment name
f. Type ‘NLC India Limited’ and search
g. Click apply
h. Click apply again.
For students who have not so far enrolled in the National Web Portal
Step 1:
a. Go to www.mhrdnats.gov.in
b. Click Enroll
c. Complete the application form
d. A unique Enrolment Number for each student will be generated.
Note: Please wait for at least one day for enrollment verification and approval. After this student can proceed to Step 2
Step 2:
a. Login
b. Click Establishment Request Menu
c. Click Find Establishment
d. Upload Resume
e. Choose Establishment name
f. Type ‘NLC India Limited’ and search
g. Click apply
h. Click apply again
Selection Procedure
Board of Apprenticeship Training (SR) is entrusted with the task of preparation of short list from the online application data. Short listing of candidates will be done based on the percentage of marks obtained in the basic prescribed qualification as applicable to the respective disciplines.
Short listed candidates shall be intimated through their registered Email id. Short listed candidates have to appear for certificate verification at Neyveli (or) Chennai
