Eligibility Criteria of Staff Nurse, ANM

Qualification :
Staff Nurse : B.Sc. Nursing/ General Nursing &Midwifery (GNM) from Recognized Institution by Indian Nursing Council. Applicant should be Registered under Meghalaya Nursing Council.
Auxiliary Nurse Midwife : Auxiliary Nurse & Midwifery Certificate from Institution Recognized by Indian Nursing Council and Registered under Meghalaya Nursing Council.

Age :
18 to 32 years (As per O.M No. PER.38/2021/30, Dated 3/2/2022) Candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes and Scheduled Castes of Meghalaya, the upper age limit shall be relaxable by 10 (ten) years (As per Notification No. Health. 236/2017/9, Dated 2/5/2018).

Application Fees of Staff Nurse, ANM

Candidates are required to register, apply and upload the necessary information before submitting their applications Online after which the applicants are to pay the Application fees of ₹500/- (Rupees Five Hundred) only and ₹250/- (Rupees Two Hundred and Fifty) for SC/ST candidates only. Applications received through any other mode will not be accepted and will be summarily rejected.

General Instructions of Staff Nurse, ANM

** Applicants are to apply well in advance before the closing date. The last date of application is on or before 5th September, 2024 midnight.
** Venue, and timing for the examination will be intimated in the admit card to be downloaded by the applicant, as well as on the website.
** Selection would be purely based on merit.
** Appointments will be given based on vacancies available.
** Mere appearance of a candidate’s name on the list of successful candidates does not necessarily qualify appointment of the candidate.
** Applicants must upload a recent photograph on the space provided in the application.
** Admit Card will be available for download from the portal mmsrb.in Personal intimation on the same will be sent to candidates via mail and/or SMS. Candidates have to use their log-in ID and click on my application>download admit card.
** Selection for the post will be subject to verification of all documents to be brought along in person for physical verification once result is declared and the candidate is found successful.

Documents to be produced in original as well as Xerox copy (self-attested) during physical verification are listed below:
** Valid Registration Certificate under Meghalaya Nursing Council
** Birth Certificate or SSLC Admit Card
** Scheduled Tribe Certificate / Scheduled Caste Certificate issued by competent authority of Government of Meghalaya
** Degree Certificate for B.Sc. Nursing / Diploma Certificate for GNM Candidates or higher qualifications from Institution recognized by Indian Nursing Council
** Mark Sheet(s) last passed from Nursing Institute recognized by Indian Nursing Council
** Proof of identity: Epic/Aadhar Card/Pan Card/Driving License/Govt. ID
** Sports Certificates for sports persons as per O.M No. PER(AR)150/88/534, Dated 7/8/2017

Scheme Of Examination for Staff Nurse, ANM

A. Syllabus – The syllabus for the written examination will be as per INC Syllabus and as below:

B. Mode of Examination : The Written Examination is a Pen & Paper-based Test, to be answered on the specially designed machine gradable OMR sheet using Black Ball Point Pen. Moreover, tampering with the OMR sheet at any stage will lead to declaration of candidates as unsuccessful.

C. Pattern of the Examination :
a) The Maximum marks for the Written Examination will be 100 marks.
b) Questions will be in Multiple Choice Questions.
c) Each question will carry 1 mark.
d) There will be NO NEGATIVE MARKING for attempt of questions.

D. Medium of the Question Papers : The Written Examination will be in English medium.
E. Centres : There will be two separate Centres for writing the Examination, i.e. at Shillong and Tura.
