Chandigarh Education TGT Recruitment

Education Department, Chandigarh Administration invites online applications from eligible candidates to fill up 303 on regular basis fot the post of TGT (Mastors/Mistrossos). Only online application will be accepted. Application received through any other mode shall stand rojected automatically. Candidates will be required to click “Recruitments” on the website i.e. https://www.chdeducation.gov.in/ to submit the application.

Pay Scale of TGT (Masters/Mistress)

The Pay scale for the post of TGT (Masters/Mistress) is Rs.9300-34800+Grade Pay Rs.4600 (Level-7) notified by Chandigarh Administration, Finance Department (Accounts Branch) vide notification no. 7000/15/8-F&P0(7)/2023/4354 dated 29.03.2023.

Age Limit of TGT (Masters/Mistress)

i. Candidates age should be strictly between 21 to 37 years as on 01.01.2024.

ii. Relaxation to SC/OBC/ESM/PwBD and other category candidates will be given as per the instructions issued by Govt. of India/Chandigarh Administration. Under OBC category, candidates of those castes will be given benefits which are included in Union Territory, Chandigarh list.

iii. Contract Teachers, Guest Teachers and Samagra Shiksha Teachers, working in Govt. Schools of Chandigarh will be given age relaxation equal to the period rounded to nearby month they worked in Govt. Schools under Chandigarh Administration. This relaxation will be applicable to the above category of teachers for direct recruitment who are working in Education Department Chandigarh/Samagra Shiksha Chandigarh on closing date for submission of application.

iv. Age relaxation to other categories will be given as per instructions of Government of India. No candidate will be accorded age relaxation and benefit of reservation unless he/she attaches the requisite certificate issued by competent authority at the time of document verification.

Selection Procedure of TGT (Masters/Mistress)

I. All the candidates who will submit ONLINE application along with requisite fees on or before the closing date will be issued admit card to appear in the written exarn without checking the eligibility conditions.
II. After the conduct of written test, answer key will be uploaded on website as per schedule for submission of objections by the candidates.
III. Marks obtained by the candidates in written test will be uploaded on the website.
IV. In case two or more candidates are having same marks in written test then a candidate having higher marks in B.Ed will rank higher in the merit. Even if, ties not settled as above then candidate senior in age will rank higher in merit.
V. Merit list prepared on the basis of marks in written test will be uploaded on the website and on the basis of said merit; candidates will be called for scrutiny of original document and checking of eligibility conditions. (to be read along with point VI)
VI. In the first round, candidates to be called for scrutiny of original documents under each category will be 3 times (three times) the number of posts under each category.
VII. List of selected candidates will be prepared on the basis of total marks obtained in Objective Type Test (Part-A, Part-B). Final merit list for selection will be released after checking of eligibility conditions and ICT skill training certificates.

VIII. Merit list for selection will be released after checking of eligibility conditions and ICT skill training certificates. Provisional Appointment letters will be issued to the selected candidates after checking/verification of eligibility conditions /verification of all documents including ICT skill training certificate.

How to Apply for TGT (Masters/Mistress)?

Procedure For Submission Of Online Applications :
1. Applications can be submitted only ‘ONLINE’ from 26.02.2024 (11.00 AM onwards) to 18.03.2024 (upto 05.00 PM) on the website i.e. https://www.chdeducation.gov.in/. However, last date to deposit the fee is 21.03.2024 (upto 02.00 PM).

2. Application fee (non-refundable) amounting to Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 500/- in case of SC) will be accepted through online mode upto 18.03.2024 (upto 02.00 PM). Persons with disability are Detailed exempted for payment of fee as per instructions issued by Govt. of India. instructions for submission of online applications and deposits of fee are available on the website https://www.chdeducation.gov.in/.

3. Education department, Chandigarh will accept fee through ON-LINE mode only. Fee submitted by any other mode will not be accepted.
4. The application fee paid by the candidates whose application is incomplete or those who have not submitted their application or whose application is rejected, will not be refunded.

5. After submission of online application, registration form will be generated. Candidate has to take out two printouts of the registration form and the same has to be brought on the date of verification of documents (if name exists in Merit list) along with original and photo copy of all documents. Print out of online application is NOT to be submitted either personally or through post.

6. Candidates are advised not to disclose password to anybody.
7. Biometric verification may be carried out at the examination centre and at the time of joining of the applicant.

8. For assistance in submission of online application and any clarifications, candidates can contact helpline. Details regarding helpline will be available from the start of date of submission of application i.e. 26.02.2024 at https://www.chdeducation.gov.in/

9. All the notices and updates will be uploaded оп the website i.e. https://www.chdeducation.gov.in/. As such, candidates are advised to visit the site on regular basis and login their accounts for notices/ updates. No separate individual intimation through post/ email/ SMS will be sent.

10. Before applying for the post of TGT (Masters/Mistress), candidate must ensure that he/she fulfils all the eligibility conditions mentioned in the advertisement. Eligibility regarding qualification will be checked with reference to closing date for submission of applications.
