Educational Qualification of Second Division Clerk

1. A Degree in any recognized University in Karnataka with minimum of 50% marks and above (aggregate of 3 years)
Or
A Post Graduation Degree in any recognized University in Karnataka with minimum of 45% marks and above in any Degree (aggregate of 3 years).
And
2. Minimum 6 months Diploma in Computer with knowledge of computer operation and Application or any other Certificate course in Computer operation and Application with minimum of 6 months duration. The candidates having Degree with Computer subject are exempted from this condition.

Preference:
Preference will be given to the candidates having B.Com, BBM, BCA degree for the post of Second Division Clerk. Preference will also be given to the candidates having additional qualifications, work experience in DCC Banks or Urban Coop. Banks, Primary Agricultural Credit Coop. Societies and Experts in computer application. Candidates must have fluency in Kannada and English to read, write and speak.

Age Limit of Second Division Clerk

As on 18-07-2024 the candidate should be within 40 years in case of SC & ST, 38 years in case of Backward community and class and 35 years in case of others. Age relaxation to Ex-servicemen upto the period of service rendered by them subject to maximum of 10 years.

Application Fees of Second Division Clerk

SC & ST Candidates – Rs.500/- + GST of Rs.90/- Total Rs.590/-
For others – Rs.1000/- + GST of Rs.180/- Total Rs.1180/-

How to Apply for Second Division Clerk?

Guidelines for filling up the Online Application:
The Candidates are suggested to use Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox Browser
i. Recruitment notification and instructions must be followed before filling the application through official website of the bank (www.scdccbank.com) and submit the application through online along with the required information.
ii. A candidate should submit only one application.
iii. Candidates should fill the application very carefully as the application once filled and sent is not allowed to be rectified.
iv. Self-attested marks card of all semesters of degree obtained from recognized University.
v. A certificate from the competent authority as per the provisions currently in force should be attached by the candidates who applied under Schedule caste/ schedule tribe/ Category-1, 2A, 2B, 3A & 3B.
vi. A certificate from the competent Authority as per the provisions currently in force should be attached by the physically handicapped candidates.
vii. Discharge letter issued by the concerned authority regarding discharge of Ex-servicemen from service.
viii. Candidate must appear for the written test and interview at their own cost when called for and No traveling allowance/ Dearness allowance will be provided by the bank.
ix. Candidates should scan and upload their latest passport size colour photo (20KBs to 50KBs) through online.
x. Any other qualification other than the prescribed qualification in the notification will not be considered.
xi. If any discrepancy is found in the marks and other documents mentioned in the application, such application will not be considered.
xii. The Bank reserves the right to verify the genuineness of the candidate’s documents from the concerned Authority/ Department/ University after selection.
xiii. The recruitment process is as per the directions and orders issued by the Government of Karnataka from time to time.
xiv. The Bank reserves the right to postpone and cancel the recruitment / change the terms and conditions without assigning any reason.
xv. Any candidate who has not been called for the written test shall be deemed ineligible and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.

xvi. Date, time and venue of the written test will be notified on the official website only for the candidates eligible for the written test. The Hall ticket for written test of the eligible candidates will be sent to the concerned Email ID’s and same shall be downloaded and should be produced at the time of the written test.

xvii. While filling the application through online the address, mobile number and email id of the candidate should be mentioned clearly and compulsorily for further correspondence.
xviii. In case of any technical difficulty or problem while filling the application through online, contact the Helpline 0824-2440381, 2440882, for further clarification.
xix. After filling the application, please click on “Preview Application” button to view the filled application.
xx. If all details filled are found correct then click on “Submit Application” button to submit the application.
xxi. After submission, you will receive a message “Application Submitted Successfully”. To take the printout of the application, please click on “download” link. This will open the filled application in PDF format, save the application in the local system and take the printout.

xxii. After submission of the application through online, candidate should take a printout of the filled application. The Candidates should affix the latest passport size photo to the application and sign the application in the space provided. The Candidates should remit the application fees in any of our Branches by cash through Pay- in-slip or by a Bank draft in favour of “The S.C.D.C.C Bank Ltd., Mangalore”.

The filled up application with signature, photo and counterfoil of the Pay- in-slip or D.D. and self-attested copies of all the Marks Card along with all the required certificates such as Reservation, Experience, etc. should be submitted to

xxiii. Incomplete applications and applications received after the last date prescribed will not be considered and application fees will not be refunded. Candidates should pay the prescribed fees compulsorily. The application fees will not be refunded under any circumstances and Applications without prescribed fees will not be considered.

xxiv. Candidates should follow the instructions issued from time to time on the Bank’s Website.

Pattern of Written Test for Second Division Clerk

The written test for qualified Second Division Clerk will consist of 200 marks questions consisting of the following subjects
