PSEB Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test

Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test PSTET 2024 is conducted by Punjab School Education Board. Candidates should possess D.El.Ed, Any Degree, B.Ed. Those Candidates who are interested in the vacancy details & completed all eligibility criteria can read the Notification & Apply Online. Online Registration for PSTET start on 16th October 2024. Last Date for submission of application is 04th November 2024.

Eligibility of PSTET

Age Limit : No specific minimum or maximum age limit is prescribed for the candidates.
Qualification : Candidates should possess D.El.Ed, Any Degree, B.Ed.

Fees Structure of PSTET

Category Paper – I Paper – II Both Papers
General / OBC / BC (only for Punjab) Rs. 1000 /- (One Thousand) Rs. 1000 /- (One Thousand) Rs. 2000 /- (Two Thousand)
SC / ST / Differently Abled (only for Punjab) Rs. 500 /- (Five Hundred) Rs. 500 /- (Five Hundred) Rs. 1000 /- (One Thousand)
Ex-Servicemen (Self)(only for Punjab) ** NIL NIL NIL
Other States (for all categories) Rs. 1000 /- (One Thousand) Rs. 1000 /- (One Thousand) Rs. 2000 /- (Two Thousand)
** If dependant of Ex-Servicemen, then the fee shall be paid as per categories listed above to which he/she belongs.

The fee can be remitted in the following ways
** By Debit/Credit Card/UPI.
** By Internet Banking.

How to Apply for PSTET?

** Please read the Information Bulletin of PSTET 2024 carefully before you start filling the Online Application Form.
** Candidates can apply for PSTET 2024 online via the official website pstet.pseb.ac.in.
** To submit the application online, candidates must complete the form available on the PSTET website, providing all the required details. After submitting the form, candidates should print the confirmation page, which includes the application number, for future reference.
** Candidates are not required to send hard copy of confirmation page to Punjab School Education Board . However, the candidates are advised to retain the hard copy of the application i.e. confirmation page, for future reference.

Application Procedure:
4 Simple Steps to be followed to apply online
Step 1 :
Fill in the Online Application Form and note down system generated Registration No./Application No. The candidate should supply all details while filling the Online Form. After successful submission of the data, Registration No. will be generated and it will be used to complete the remaining Steps of the Application Form and also required for all future correspondence.

Upload latest Photograph and Signature
Note :
** Latest photographs and signature should be in jpg,jpeg & png format.
** Size of the photo image must be greater than 5 kb and less than 50 kb.
** Size of the signature image must be greater than 5 kb and less than 50 kb.

NOTE :
** The candidate particulars can be edited till the payment of fees has not been made. Once the payment of fees has been made, candidate particulars cannot be edited at this stage.

** Thereafter corrections can be made only during the period in which online correction will be allowed as per the given schedule of PSTET 2024 . No change will be accepted through offline mode i.e. through fax/application or by email etc. No correspondence in this regard will be entertained.

Step 2 :
Pay Examination Fee by debit card/credit card/UPI.
OR
Pay Examination Fee by Internet Banking.

Step 3 :
Print Confirmation Page for your record and future reference.
All Steps are mandatory, On-line application submission will be considered as complete only after receipt of “Confirmation Page” by candidate.

Important Instructions about PASSWORD :
** During registration, candidate will be required to choose PASSWORD and Security Question and its Answer. Candidate is advised to remember his/her password for all future logins.
** The Password must be as per the following Password policy.
i. Password must be 8 to 14 character long.
ii. Password must have at least one Upper case alphabet
iii. Password must have at least one Lower case alphabet.
iv. Password must have at least one numeric value.
v. Password must have at least one special characters eg.!@#$%^&*-
** For subsequent logins, candidate will be able to login directly with his/her respective Mobile Number and the chosen Password
** Candidate is advised not to disclose or share his/her password with anybody. Panjab School Education Board (PSEB) will not be responsible for violation or misuse of the password of a candidate.
** Candidate can change his/her passwords after login, if desired.
** Candidate should remember to log out at the end of his/her session so that the particulars of the candidate cannot be tampered or modified by unauthorized persons.

How to reset your Password : The following options are available to reset Password
** Using a verification code sent via text message (SMS) to your Registered Mobile No. using Forget Password on Login Panel.
