Announcement was made vide Advertisement No : NPCIL/HRM/2017/02 dated 30.09.2017 declaring intent of NPCIL to induct Executive Trainees in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation and Civil disciplines by short listing candidates based on GATE 2017/GATE 2018 Scores.

** Applications are invited from Indian Nationals for the post of Executive Trainee. Eligible & interested candidates are required to apply online form NPCIL website.

** Online registration commences on 04.04.2018 and closes on 18.04.2018.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification

a. BE/B Tech/B Sc (Engineering)/5 year Integrated M Tech with a minimum of 60% Marks in one of the 6 engineering disciplines mentioned in the Below Table

b. Applicants must have a valid GATE-2017 or GATE-2018 Score in the same engineering discipline as the qualifying degree discipline.

c. A minimum of 60% marks means the marks as per the ordinances of the respective university
d. Candidates who have done 5 years integrated course leading to ME/M Tech with a minimum of 60% marks

e. Applicants whose final results are awaited and/or are appearing for the final year/semester examination during 2018, but are otherwise eligible, may also apply.

Age Limit

Age as on 18.04.2018 :

Note :
i. Age relaxation on cumulative basis for applicants eligible for age relaxation in more than one category shall be subject to a maximum of 56 years.

ii. There is no age limit for employees serving in NPCIL who otherwise fulfil the prescribed criteria.

Training & Placement

i. The selected candidates will be required to undergo one year orientation training in any of the Training Facilities situated at various locations such as Tarapur Maharashtra Site, Rawatbhata Rajasthan Site, Kalpakkam, Tamil Nadu, Kaiga Karnataka and Kudankulam, Tamil Nadu etc.

ii. Those trainees who complete one year orientation training successfully, will be appointed as Scientific Officer/C and will be liable to be posted at one of the Units/Sites/Upcoming Projects/Offices of NPCIL located in different parts of the country.

Stipend – During Training

** Monthly Stipend – ` 35,000/-
** One time Book Allowance – ` 10,000/-
** Mandatory Lodging & Boarding – In accommodation as provided by NPCIL.

Pay – On Appointment

After successful completion of training, Executive Trainee will be appointed as Scientific Officer/C in Group ‘A’ as detailed below :

Bond

Selected candidates are required to execute an agreement and a personal indemnity bond for ` 4,30,000/- (Rupees Four Lakhs Thirty Thousand Only) to serve NPCIL for at least three years after successful completion of training.

Selection Process

The selection process will comprise of the following:
i. Shortlisting of candidates for personal interview for the posts of Executive Trainee 2018 will be done by applying ratio of 1:8 and in the order of merit drawn on the basis of valid GATE 2017 and GATE 2018 Scores.

ii. Candidates obtaining valid GATE 2017/GATE 2018 scores shall only be eligible.
iii. Equal weightage will be given to GATE 2017 or GATE 2018 Scores.

iv. Intimation on interview timing/venue shall be communicated to shortlisted candidates through Email/SMS.
v. Result of the interview shall be made available to the candidates through individual login on recruitment website of NPCIL

Verification of Original Documents at the time of interview :
The following original documents will be verified at the time of interview.

a. Date of Birth (DoB) proof:
I. Xth Standard Passing Certificate indicating Date of Birth
OR
II. School Leaving Certificate

b. Qualification :
I. Mark sheets indicating date of declaration of result.
II. Final Degree Certificate
III. Provisional passing Certificate (in case Final Degree Certificate is not issued).

IV. Applicants, who have been awarded CGPA/GPA/SGPA or letter grades, should follow the conversion table of the Institute/College/University from wherever they have passed.
V. GATE 2017/GATE 2018 Admit Card and GATE 2017/GATE 2018 Scores Card.

c. Applicants working in Central/State Government/PSUs/Aided Institutions should bring “No Objection Certificate” from the organisation.
d. In case of PwBD candidates, Disability Certificate issued by the Competent Authority as per the Act.

Medical Fitness

** The appointment of the selected candidate as Executive Trainee will be subject to she/he being found Medically Fit by the Authorised Medical Officer of NPCIL.

Offer of Appointment

** Candidates finally selected for the post applied for will be offered traineeship as per the Policy of the Corporation in vogue.

** On successful completion of training, the selected candidates will be appointed as Scientific Officer/C.
** They will be on probation for a period of one year and shall be confirmed in the post on successful completion of the probationary period.

In this step the applicant is required to fill in all details of his Educational Qualifications, Work Experience etc.

The sequence of stages is as follows :

** On entering of all the information related to current stage, the applicant can use “Save and Proceed to Next Step” option button.
** Once the applicant reaches “Submit Application” stage, a draft of all the information entered by the applicant will be shown.

** At this point the applicant is allowed to modify any details entered in earlier stages.
** If applicant is sure that all the information entered is correct, he/she can submit the application using “Submit Application” option.

** After submission of application, an Application number will be generated.

Payment of fees

** Only male candidates belonging to General/OBC categories are required to make a non-refundable payment of Rs 500/-
** If you pay the fee using State Bank Collect link provided on the website after final submission of the online application.

** Go to the State Bank official website by selecting State Bank Collect option => Click Check Box & Proceed => Select state as Maharashtra => type of Corporate/Institution as Others =>Others Name as NPCIL =>Submit =>Select Payment Category as Recruitment of Executives Trainees 2018.

** The applicant should use only this link for payment of fee. Please note that it may take up to three working days to update the details of Application Fee.

** Once the details of payment of application fee are received from Bank, the applicant can view these details using the “Application Fee Payment Details” link.

** The application fee can be paid through ‘State Bank Collect’ on any day between 04 April, 2018 and 18 April, 2018 only.
** The printed receipt of ‘State Bank Collect’ is required to be produced at the time of Interview.
