Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL) invites ONLINE applications for various department posts. Those candidates who are interested in the vacancy details & completed all eligibility criteria can read the notification & Apply Online. Candidates are permitted to apply for only one post from Technician-III/Electrical and Technician-III/Mechanical. Candidates can pay the fee ONLINE only. Last Date for submission of Application Form is 16th September 2024.

Educational Qualification
(a) Please see the Post Parameters Table (Annexure-A) for the prescribed qualifications for each post.
(b) Candidates appearing and awaiting final examination results of the prescribed educational/technical qualification can also apply. However, they will be required to produce the requisite certificate of having acquired the educational qualification at the time of document verification, failing which their candidature will be rejected.
(c) Diploma/Degree in Engineering will not be accepted unless otherwise specified, instead of Course Completed Act Apprentices/ITI for the Technicians in Pay Level-2 post. Graduate Act apprentice will not be accepted in place of Course Completed Act Apprenticeship (CCAA).
Age Limit
Age Limit – 18 to 36 years.
The lower age limit is standard for all the notified posts. The upper age limit has been increased from 33 to 36 to provide relief to many candidates who may have exceeded the age limit due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The age shall be reckoned as on 01/08/2024.
Examination Fee
** Candidates applying for the posts in this notification have to pay the prescribed examination fee of Rs. 885/- (Applicable fee of Rs. 750/- + GST @ 18%, i.e., Rs. 135/-) + payment of gateway charges, if any, for each examination.
** For the candidates belonging to SC, ST, Ex-Serviceman, Female, Minorities or Economically backward class (EBC), and PwBD categories, the fee shall be refunded to the candidates duly deducting bank charges as applicable on appearing in CBT.
** Minorities include Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains, and Zoroastrians (Parsis), subject to revision/deletion/inclusion if any, received by the last date for submission of the online application, i.e. 06/10/2024.
Modes Of Payment Of Fee :
** ONLINE fee payment will only be accepted through Internet banking, debit/credit cards, or UPI. The candidate shall bear all applicable service charges.
** Candidates can pay the fee ONLINE only. There will be no option to pay the fee through any other mode.
** Applications received without a prescribed fee shall not be considered and will be summarily rejected. No representation against such rejection will be entertained.
How To Apply?
Candidates are permitted to apply for only one post from Technician-III/Electrical and Technician-III/Mechanical.

b) Candidates should ensure they possess/fulfill all eligibility conditions prescribed for the post as of the closing date for applying.
c) Candidates who possess/fulfill all eligibility conditions prescribed for the post as of the closing date for applying may apply for one or more posts in a single application in the order of their preference for which candidate is eligible and interested in applying.
d) Candidates are advised to read all the information and instructions detailed in the notification thoroughly before starting to fill out the application by clicking the link on the official website of KRCL. It is essential that the candidate understands all the information in the notification correctly to prevent any mistakes while filling out the application.
e) Candidates should have their own mobile number and valid and active personal email ID and keep these active for the entire duration of recruitment. KRCL shall send all recruitment-related communications only through SMS and email until the recruitment process is complete. KRCL will not entertain any request for a change of mobile number and e-mail address at any stage.
f) Candidates should enter their Name, Father’s Name, and Date of Birth as recorded in the Matriculation/SSLC/High School Examination Certificate or an equivalent certificate ONLY.
g) To ensure speedy filling up of the ONLINE application by the candidates, they should keep ready scanned copies of mandatory documents before filling out the application.
h) The candidates are responsible for proving with valid documents that all the information they submitted in the ONLINE application is true.
Registration Process & Filling of Online Application:
** The candidates shall first register their names by visiting the official website of KRCL, konkanrailway.com. A registration number will be generated upon successful registration.
** This registration number and password will be sent to the candidates via registered email and mobile number.
** Further, a link for making an application along with the registration number and password will be sent to the candidate’s registered e-mail address.
** On activation of this link, the candidate will get access to the application form. The link for registration and application submission will go live on 16/09/2024.
