Direct Recruitment of Village Administrative Officer Vacant Posts in Revenue Department In accordance with Revenue Department, Government of Karnataka letter No. RD 240 BSC 2022 Dated: 03-02-2024 and 07-02-2024, KEA is conducting the Competitive Examination as per the provisions laid down in Karnataka Civil Services (Direct Recruitment) (General) Rules, 2021 for direct recruitment of Village Administrative Officer vacant posts in RPC Cadre and Kalyana Kamataka Cadre in different districts. Candidate is eligible to apply only for ONE district for the post of Village Administrative Officer. Candidate has to appear for the Competitive Examination to be conducted by KEA.

Educational Qualification of VAO

** Candidates must have completed the 2nd PUC/ 12th Exam from the recognized institute or board.
** Candidates can be considered equivalent to PUC only if they pass one language course and one academic subject conducted by NIOS or one language and one subject in the examination conducted by a pregraduate course.

Age Limit of Village Administrative Officer

** Minimum Age: 18 Years
** Maximum Age for General Candidates: 35 Years
**Age relaxation is applicable for different categories.
