HPSC Post Graduate Teacher Recruitment

Applications are being invited for the posts of Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) in the various subjects for Rest of Haryana Cadre and Mewat Cadre. Candidates should possess Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or 10+2/B.A/MA/M.Sc /M.Com/HTET/ STET. Total number of vacancies are 3069. Last Date for submission of Application is 14th August 2024.

Eligibility of Post Graduate Teacher

Essential Qualification :
Essential Qualification common to all advertisement of posts
(i) Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or 10+2/B.A./M.A/ M.Sc /M.Com with Hindi as one of the subject.
(ii) Certificate of having qualified Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) /School Teachers Eligibility Test (STET).
(iii) Consistent good academic record.

Age Limits:
Candidate should not be less than 18 years and not more than 42 years, as the closing date fixed for submission of online application forms to the commission i.e. 14.08.2024.

Scheme/Pattern of Exam for PGT

i. Screening Test (wherever applicable)
a) Total number of MCQs: 100
b) The subject wise syllabus is enclosed at Annexure-I to XX’
c) Time duration of the exam: 02 hours
d) ‘Total Marks: 100
e) All questions carry equal marks.

ii. The eligibility of candidates with regard to educational qualifications shall be determined on the Closing Date i.e. 14.08.2024 fixed for submission of online application forms.
iii. All applicants must fulfill the essential requirements of the post and other conditions stipulated in the Advertisement on the Closing Date i.e. 14.08.2024. They are advised to satisfy themselves before applying that they possess at least the essential qualifications laid down for various posts. No enquiry asking for advice as to eligibility will be entertained.
iv. The certificates/ documents in support of the claim should be possessed by the candidates on or before the Closing Date i.e. 14.08.2024. The certificates issued after the Closing Date will not be accepted by the Commission.
(v) The improvement in marks obtained by a candidate after the Closing Date i.e. 14.08.2024 shall not be considered for any purpose in this recruitment.
(vi) The prescribed essential qualifications are the minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for interview.
(vii) The candidate should, mention all her/his qualifications and experience in the relevant field over and above the minimum qualifications
(viii) Each question will have five options (A, B, C, D and E). If a candidate is attempting a question, she/he shall have to darken the appropriate circle A, B, C or D and if not attempting a question then, she/he shall have to darken E circle. If none of the five circles is darkened, one fourth (0.25) mark shall be deducted.
(ix) Any candidate not darkening any of the five circles in more than 100% questions shall be disqualified.
(x) One-fourth mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Application Fee of Post Graduate Teacher

The category wise application fee payable through Net Banking, Debit Card and Credit Card upto 05:00 PM of the Closing Date i.e. 14.08.2024 is as under,
** For Male candidates of General category including Dependent Son of Ex-Serviceman of Haryana 1000/-
** For Male candidates of Blackguard Classes belonging to Creamy Layer. 1000/-
** For Male candidates of all categories of other States. 1000/-
** For all Female candidates of General category including Female Dependent of ESM of Haryana only 250/-
** For Female candidates of all categories of other States. 250/-
** For Male & Female candidates of SC / BC-A / BC-B / ESM categories of Haryana only. 250/-
** Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) 250/-
** For all Persons with Disabilities category candidates (with at least 40% disability) of Haryana only. NIL

How to Apply for Post Graduate Teacher?

The Commission invites online applications from eligible candidates for the posts of Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs) in various subjects for Rest of Haryana Cadre and Mewat Cadre, for which the guidelines / steps for submission of online application form by the candidates are as under

** Candidates have to compulsorily register online by visiting regn.hpsc. gov.in directly OR through hpsc.gov.in for submitting their online application form.
** After registration, a login ID would be created and the candidates will have to complete the registration process by using the login ID.
** Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP), Aadhar No’ & Virtual ID (VID) is required for Aadhar authentication during Biometric attendance
** After completion of registration, the candidates can apply against the respective advertisement as per their qualifications.
** Duly filled application form can be submitted only after payment of requisite fee.
** After making payment, the candidates have to take a printout of their application form and upload the same after duly checking & signing it.
** Application process would be completed only after submission of duly signed application form by the candidates.
