Assistant Teacher Recruitment DEE Assam

Online applications are hereby invited through the official website of DEE, Assam, i.e. https://dee.assam.gov.in from eligible Indian Citizens as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India and permanent residents of Assam, who are qualified in Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (ATET)/ Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), for filling up of 3800 (Three Thousand and Eight Hundred) vacancies of Assistant Teacher of LP Schools and 1750 (One Thousand Seven Hundred and fifty) vacancies of Assistant Teacher, Science Teacher and Hindi Teacher of UP Schools under the Directorate of Elementary Education, Assam.

Scale of Pay : Pay Band – 2 (PB-2) @ Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 70,000/- plus Grade Pay

Essential Qualification & Experience

Assistant Teacher for Lower Primary School :
Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks
And
2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
And
Assam TET or Central TET for Lower Primary
(Non-Essential)
1. NCC Certificate – 5 marks for “C” Certificate and 3 marks for “B” Certificate
Or
2. 5 marks for participation/ achievement in recognized sports at National Level or beyond representing State or Nation.
Or
3. 5 marks for participation/ achievement in recognized Fine Arts and Cultural Activities representing State at National Level or Beyond representing State or Nation (organized by recognized institutions).

Assistant Teacher for Upper Primary School :
Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent)
Graduate from the UGC recognized University
And
2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
OR
Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education
And
Assam TET or Central TET for Upper Primary School
(Non-Essential)
1. NCC Certificate – 5 marks for “C” Certificate and 3 marks for “B” Certificate
Or
2. 5 Marks for participation/ achievement in recognized sports at National Level or beyond representing State or Nation.
Or
3. 5 Marks for participation/ achievement in recognized Fine Arts and Cultural Activities representing State at National Level or Beyond representing State or Nation (Organised by recognized institutions)

Age Limit

A candidate must not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 40 years for unreserved category, 42 years for Ex-Servicemen, 43 years for OBC/ MOBC and 45 years for SC/ ST(P)/ST(H) and 50 years for Persons with Disability (PwD), as on 1st January, 2023.

How to Apply Online?

** The eligible candidates shall apply online in the official website of DEE, Assam, i.e. https://dee.assam.gov.in. from 10:00 AM of 2nd January, 2024 to 10:00 PM of 2nd February, 2024.

** No offline application will be accepted.

** The Online Applications and documents submitted by the candidates will be verified with the help of DigiLocker, Govt. of India and by scanning Barcode or QR Code for ensuring genuineness of the uploaded documents as well as by way of back-office verification from the competent board/ council/ authority. But the authority, if desires, may conduct physical document verification at any point of time.

** The candidate must ensure genuineness of all the information/ documents uploaded against the online application and he/ she will be solely responsible for the information/ documents uploaded against his/ her online application as well as document submitted at the time of document verification (if any). Any discrepancy/ misrepresentation of facts/ information will lead to cancellation of the candidature.

** The candidature will be cancelled forthwith, if any kind of fraudulence/discrepancy/ misrepresentation of facts/ uploaded by the candidate is detected by appropriate authority at any point of time. The candidate will also be barred from taking part in any Govt. recruitment process in future and subsequent legal action will also be initiated against such candidate.

** The regular teachers already working in LP Schools under DEE, Assam are not allowed to apply in any posts in LP Schools.
** A candidate can apply only in one post against one particular ATET/CTET Roll No.

Required Documents

Documents required to be uploaded in colour:
i. Passport Size Photograph.
ii. HSLC Admit Card.
iii. HSSLC Mark-sheet and Certificate.
iv. Any other Mark-sheet and Certificate of higher education.
v. DElEd Marksheet (1st Year & 2nd Year) and Certificate.
vi. Caste Certificate (in case of SC/ ST(P)/ST(H)/OBC/MOBC).
vii. Document in support of Permanent Resident of Assam.
viii. Certificate and Mark sheet of ATET/CTET.
ix. Candidates with disabilities will have to enclose certificates of disabilities issued by Govt. authority.
x. Certificate of Ex-servicemen issued by the Director, Sainik Welfare Board.
xi. Scanned Signature.

Note:
** Candidates should be cautious while submitting the online application as once the online application is submitted against a particular Roll Number of ATET/CTET examination, they will not be allowed to submit the online application for second time.

** After submitting the online application, the candidates will get a Unique Number against the submitted application and will keep the printout of the unique Number for all future references.
** Canvassing directly or indirectly will lead to cancellation of candidature.
** The office will not be responsible for any lapse in submission of online application due to any technical problem in the end of the candidate.
** The office will not be responsible for any kind of fraudulence of information/ document. The candidate will be solely responsible for the same.
