CISF Constable/Fire Recruitment

Online Applications are invited from Male Indian citizens for filling up the temporary posts of CONSTABLE/FIRE in Central Industrial Security Force. Applications will be accepted through “Online” mode only. The recruitment process will consist of Physical Efficiency Test, Physical Standards Test, Document Verification, Written Examination under OMR/Computer Based Test  Mode and Medical Examination. Last Date for submission of Application is 30th September 2024.

** The vacancies are tentative and may increase or decrease at any stage of recruitment process due to administrative reasons. Any change in the number of vacancies will be intimated through CISF website.
** 10% vacancies are reserved for Ex-servicemen (ESM). If suitable ESM candidates are not available, vacancies reserved for ESM will be filled by non-ESM candidates of respective categories.

Eligibility Criteria of Constable/Fire

Pay Scale :Pay Level-3 (Rs.21,700-69,100)
Nationality/ Citizenship: Candidate must be a citizen of India.

Educational Qualification :
The candidates must have passed 12th Class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board/University with science subject on or before closing date of receipt of online Application Form.

Age Limit :
18-23 years as on the closing date for receipt of the online Applications Form (i.e. 30/09/2024). Candidates should not have been born earlier than 01/10/2001 and later than 30/09/2006.
Permissible relaxation in upper age limit for different categories are as under :-

Application Fee of Constable/Fire

1. Fee payable : Rs.100/- (Rupees one hundred only).
2. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.
3. Fee can be paid online through Net Banking, by using Debit or Credit cards and UPI or through cash in SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan. Fee paid by modes other than as stated above, will not be accepted.

4. Fee can be paid by the candidates up to 30/09/2024 (23:00 hours). However, candidates who wish to make the cash payment through Challan of SBI, may make the payment in cash at the Branches of SBI within the working hours of the bank up to 02/10/2024 provided the Challan has been generated by them before 30/09/2024 (23:00 hours).

5. Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances nor will it be adjusted against any other examination or selection.
6. Applications received without prescribed fee shall not be considered and summarily rejected. No representation against such rejection will be entertained. Therefore, candidates who are not exempted from fee payment must ensure that their fee has been deposited.
7. Applicable service charges will be paid by candidates.

How to Apply for Constable/Fire?

1. Applications must be submitted in online mode at the official website of CISF i.e. https://cisfrectt.cisf.gov.in For detailed instructions, please refer to Annexure-I and Annexure-II of this Notice. Sample Proforma of ‘One Time Registration’ and online ‘Application Form’ are attached as Annexure-I and Annexure-II respectively. No other mode of submission of application is allowed / accepted.

2. In the online Application Form, candidates are required to upload the following documents
** Uploading of Photograph – Recent scanned colour passport size photograph (i.e. not more than three months old from the date of publication of this Notification) in JPEG format (20 KB to 50KB). Image dimension of the photograph should be about 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height).

** Uploading of Signature – Scanned signature in JPEG format (10 to 20 KB). Image dimension of the signature should be about 4.0 cm (width) x 2.0 cm (height). Applications with illegible signature will be rejected.

** Uploading of Documents – Candidate is required to upload the scanned copies of relevant documents (in PDF format) with regard to his age and educational qualification (i.e. Matriculation Certificate & Senior Secondary Examination Certificate) only. Uploading of different documents other than Matriculation Certificate & Senior Secondary Examination Certificate or uploading of documents of others will be summarily rejected.

3. Last date and time of submission of online applications is 30/09/2024 (23:00 PM)
4. Candidates are advised in their own interest to submit online applications much before the closing date and not to wait till the last date to avoid the possibility of disconnection/ inability or failure to login on account of heavy load on the website during the closing days.
5. Before submission of the online application, candidates must check that they have filled correct details in each field of the form.
6. Candidates are advised to fill their correct and active e-mail addresses and mobile number in the online application as important information relating to recruitment will be given to them through e-mail/ SMS.

7. Only one online application is allowed to be submitted by a candidate for the Examination. Therefore, the candidates must exercise due diligence at the time of filling their online Application Forms. If the candidate submits multiple applications, only the first application will be processed further and all subsequent applications will be rejected.

8. Candidates are advised to upload the scanned colour passport size photograph with printed date, not more than three months old in online application.

Mode of Selection for Constable/Fire

1. The recruitment process will consist of Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Document Verification (DV), Written Examination under OMR/Computer Based Test (CBT) Mode and Medical Examination (DME/RME).

2. The minimum percentage of marks for qualification in Written Examination (OMR/CBT) for next stage will be as under :
UR/EWS/ESM : 35%
SC/ST/OBC : 33%

3. Merit List :
After completion of PET/PST/DV, Written Examination (OMR/CBT) and Medical Examination, State and category wise merit lists namely Un-reserved (UR), SC, ST, OBC, EWS and ESM will be drawn separately in respect of each State/UTs based on the performance of candidates in the Written Examination (OMR/CBT) and number of vacancies allotted to the State/UT.
