Qualification & Experience

The essential educational qualification and experience is as under:
Junior Manager (Contract) (Design) :
a) First Class Degree in Engineering Design/ Tool Engineering
(and)
b) M. Tech in Defence Technology with specialization in Combat Vehicle Engineering with First Class
c) Minimum 2 years of Post Professional Qualification Experience in relevant field.

Diploma Technician (Contract) : Diploma in Relevant Engineering
Junior Technician (Contract) : NAC/NTC in Relevant Trade
Assistant (Contract) (Legal) : First Class 5 year LLB/Graduate with 3 years LLB

Age Limit

1. The Upper Age Limit prescribed for all the posts shall not exceed 28 years on the closing date of application.
2. The Upper Age Limit is relaxed by 3 years for OBC(Non-creamy layer) candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates in the post reserved for them.
3. The Upper Age Limit is relaxed by 10 years for Person with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD).
4. Ex-Apprentice Trainees: In case of Ex-Apprentice Trainees, if age bar comes in the way of the candidate the same would be relaxed to the extent of the period for which the Apprentice had undergone training, in line with Apprentice Act.
5. Ex-serviceman: The Upper Age Limit shall not exceed 30 years plus 3 years after deducting the period of service from the present age (plus 5 years for SC candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates)
6. Candidates seeking age relaxation shall enclose the relevant certificates issued by Competent Authority.
7. The Maximum Age Limit for any category shall not exceed 55 years.

2. Application Fee: – Payment of Application Fee of Rs.300/- (Rupees Three Hundred only) to be paid through SBI Collect => PSU(Public Sector Undertaking) => Armoured Vehicles Nigam Limited Tamil Nadu => Payment Category => HVF – Fixed Tenure (Contract) Application Fee. (Don’t use special characters in the payment page). SC/ST/PwBD/Ex- SM/Female candidates are exempted from payment of application fees. The candidates shall attach a copy of receipt of payment with the application form.

3. Applications that are incomplete, not in prescribed format, not legible, without the required certificates and without requisite fee, shall be summarily rejected without assigning any reasons and no correspondence in this regard shall be entertained.

4. Non-attachment of required documents as per application format will be treated as incomplete application and will be rejected forthwith. It is mandatory to fill all the relevant information such as qualification details, experience details, percentage of marks etc. In case of any variation in Name/ surname/ spelling mentioned in the Application cum Bio data and in educational/ professional qualification certificates, application will be liable to be cancelled.
